I was horrified when my wife told me that she had come across a website which recommended using apple cider vinegar as a mouthwash to whiten yellow teeth. Don’t do it! Apart from the fact that it wouldn’t whiten your teeth, more importantly the acid in the vinegar would cause damage to the enamel and could lead to serious dental problems. Over-the –counter whitening toothpastes can help minor staining, but for the best results go for professional whitening.
